Policy Agreement
#1. SCHEDULING CHANGES - Contact the office directly at (480) 296-0026 if I have any schedule related requests/cancellations or questions pertaining to my services. Any requests communicated to the Pet Sitter directly will NOT be guaranteed or approved.
#2. RATES & FEES - All of our rates and fees will be quoted by Admin and are subject to change.
#3. SITTER/CLIENT COMMUNICATION - Download/install the Precise Petcare app on your phone and you will receive "On the way" notifications from your sitter. You will also receive a visit summary via email after each visit has completed.
#4. UPDATING CONTACT INFO - You agree to update your Client Profile with all important Client & Pet information prior to your visit's starting date - to include emergency contact information, pet feeding instructions, gate codes, lockbox codes, garage codes and any other information relating to your pet's care. We do our best to update your information on our end, but there is no guarantee, and it is your responsibility to make sure your information is provided to your Sitter via your Client profile. Please visit our website at www.PawfectPetSitter.com, click “Client Login” at the top right-hand corner to log in to your Member's Portal.
#5. PET VACCINES: All dogs must be current on rabies & parvo vaccinations. Outdoor cats must be up to date on Rabies & FVRCP vaccines. Please update recent pet records to your profile.
#6. SCHEDULING SERVICE REQUESTS - It is your responsibility to schedule your service dates online in the Client Profile. Please call our office if you need assistance scheduling your Pet Sitting Visit requests.
#7. PAYMENT
We only accept credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express. Please, no cash or checks.
#8. GRATUITY
We appreciate the offer of a gratuity for any service (Cash only please). If you expect to have more than one sitter, you may leave split gratuity in separate envelopes labeled with the sitter's names.
#9. PAYMENT PROCESS
Payment is due on your booking date once your service request has been approved and confirmed by Admin.
#10. REFUNDS
Refund are not accepted in most cases, and any charges will be credited to your account. Credit does not expire. (See Cancellations for more detail*)
#11. BUSINESS HOURS
Business hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 10am-1pm. We will monitor voicemail and emails throughout each day. Pet Sitting hours are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
#12. RESERVATIONS
Reservations can be made by visiting http://www.PawfectPetSitter.com. **Reservations made after the 24 hour window CANNOT be guaranteed and are subject to a $20 last-minute booking fee; please call our office to confirm if you need service after the 24 hour window.** Click on the “Client Login” option to book your appointment. Once your service has been scheduled, a call or text to confirm your appointment will be made within 24 hours.
#13. CANCELLATION
*Daily/Weekly Dog Walking
Clients who cancel scheduled dog walks at anytime, will receive a credit towards future walks. No refunds will be made, however credits do not expire and can be used towards future service.
*Non-Holiday Trip Reservation Payment:
Payment is due on your booking date once your service request has been approved and confirmed by Admin. Last minute cancellations after 24 hours or early arrival home from scheduled bookings are subject to a 15% cancellation fee and all remaining charges are credited towards future service and does not expire. (No refunds will be made.)
*Holiday Trip Reservation Payment:
Cancellations must be made 14 days in advance of scheduled dates during holidays. Payment is due on booking date, and a 25% cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations made AFTER the 14 day notification window. Any remaining charges will be credited to your account for future service and does not expire.
Holidays include: Thanksgiving (including Black Friday), Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day, Memorial Day Weekend & Independence Day, & Labor Day
#14. DAILY CHECK INS
Daily check-in hours are 7am-7pm. When scheduling your visits, we have time blocks for morning, afternoon & evening. Pet visits may be made within 30 minutes - 1 hour before or after the requested time block. In certain instances, however, we do try to keep consistent times with each visit as much as possible (ex: medications) and you will be notified if we are running behind schedule. We prioritize more urgent bookings first, such as dogs or cats needing medication, or pets without a doggie door, for potty breaks first. If you need to request a specific time for your dog to go out, please notify our office or add a note in our scheduling system and we will do our best to accommodate you and your pet's needs.
#15. DOG BOARDING/DAYCARE HOURS (Arizona Only)
Please arrange a mutually convenient time for your dog(s)'s arrival and departure. We recommend a time-frame for boarding drop-off between 8:00 AM – 10AM, or between 5pm-6pm. Daycare is typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
**For late night check-outs for our boarders - If after 1pm on the last day of service, there will be an additional night's charge added.
#16. EMERGENCY BACKUP: In the event of an emergency with the scheduled Pet Sitter, there will be an emergency backup Pet Sitter to help with your pet's needs. You will be notified in the event of an emergency by the Sitter who will be making the visits. (All of our Pet Sitters are professional, double certified, background checked and extensively trained in the care and handling of pets.)
#17. Holidays include: Thanksgiving (including Black Friday), Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day, Memorial Day Weekend & Independence Day, & Labor Day Weekend. **There is an additional $15 per day for boarding, and $10 for check-ins/dog walks per visit during the mentioned holidays.
#18. FRIENDS AND FAMILY ACCESS
If a third party is present without prior notification:
• Our pet sitter will contact the office immediately.
• The visit will be paused or canceled for that day.
• Any payments for the affected visit will not be refunded.
Insurance and Liability:
Allowing unauthorized individuals to enter the property during our scheduled visits voids our insurance coverage for that client. In such cases, Pawfect Pet Sitter is not liable for any incidents, including pet escapes, injuries, or property damage.
Exceptions and Waivers:
If you need third parties to access your home during our service periods, please notify us in advance. We will require you to sign a waiver acknowledging the associated risks and releasing Pawfect Pet Sitter from liability.
#19. LAST-MINUTE SERVICE
We provide last-minute service; however, we encourage you to please schedule your service at least 24 hours in advance. Services that are less than 2 hours in advance may be subject to a service fee of $20.00
#20. FREE VIRTUAL CONSULT
We offer FREE Virtual Consults to get to know you and your pet before booking an appointment. We want to make sure it is a good fit for both you and your pet, as well as ourselves. We do charge a $25 fee for in-person consults. Please let us know if you need to cancel your Virtual or In-person consult within at least 24 hours in advance if possible. (If a second In-person consult is requested, there is a $25.00 fee.)
#21. KEYS
We require 2 keys to be made prior to our Consult, along with a lockbox secured on-premises for all of our visits. The client/owner of the property is responsible for maintaining their lockbox and updating the lockbox code as needed. Under most circumstances, we do not allow key pickup/drop off and you must have a lockbox or garage/door code. If we agree to pickup a key, there is an additional $20 key pickup/drop off fee.
#22. Key/Lock Malfunctions
If for whatever reason your keys, lockbox, or door locks malfunction and we are unable to access your home to care for your pets, we will require a locksmith to be sent out to break the lock and enter your home to care for your pets. We will always contact you first prior to locksmith coming out. This fee will be charged to your account and an additional hourly fee of $40/hour will be added to your account for time spent. Please be sure to test your keys & locks prior to service starting.
#23. CONFIDENTIALITY
Pawfect Pet & House Sitter does not disclose any of your information to any third party, and all information received is considered confidential and private.
#24. SOCIAL MEDIA
Follow us on our socials, your fur-baby might be famous! Pawfect Pet Sitter may use photos of your pets in their social media marketing on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or other platforms, from prior daily check-in visits, dog walks or boardings. You are giving us permission to use photos of your pets by agreeing to these policies.
These policies are bound by the state of Arizona.
BOARDING AGREEMENT:
Pawfect Pet Sitter Boarding Service Agreement (Arizona ONLY)
**This Service Agreement ("Agreement") is made by and between Pawfect Pet Sitter with a mailing address of 43612 N 44th Ave., New River AZ 85087
WHEREAS, Client desires to board their dog(s) with Pawfect Pet Sitter at Pawfect Pet Sitter's private residence in the State of Arizona; and
WHEREAS,Pawfect Pet Sitter agrees to provide dog boarding services in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements set forth herein, the parties agree as follows:**
1. Services. Pawfect Pet Sitter agrees to provide the following services for Client's dog(s):
Accommodation: Provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for Client's dog(s) within Pawfect Pet Sitter's private residence. This includes providing access to a completely fenced-in yard, comfortable bedding, and individual attention.
Feeding: Provide Client's dog(s) with the food and water, specified by Client, following the feeding schedule provided by Client. Pawfect Pet Sitter will not be responsible for providing food or treats, and must be provided by the Client.
Exercise: Provide Client's dog(s) with regular exercise in the outdoor play area, regular potty breaks, playtime, and interaction with other dogs.
Health Monitoring: Monitor Client's dog(s) for any signs of illness or injury and immediately notify Client of any concerns. Pawfect Pet Sitter is not a veterinarian and cannot provide medical care. In the event of an emergency, Pawfect Pet Sitter will take Client's dog(s) to the nearest emergency veterinary clinic and contact Client as soon as possible.
Medication Administration: Administer any medication prescribed by a veterinarian to Client's dog(s) according to the instructions provided by Client.
Sanitization: All of the kennels, bowls, flooring and out door areas are fully sanitized each day with Bleach and Kennelsol to prevent the spreading of disease.
2. Client Responsibilities: Client agrees to the following:
Vaccinations: Ensure that Client's dog(s) are up-to-date on all vaccinations required by Arizona law, including rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and bordetella. Client agrees to provide Pawfect Pet Sitter with a copy of their dog's vaccination records prior to boarding, and will continue to update records as necessary.
Parasite Prevention: Ensure that Client's dog(s) are on a regular parasite prevention program, including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Client agrees to provide Pawfect Pet Sitter with a copy of their dog's parasite prevention records.
Collars and Leashes: Provide a properly fitted collar with identification tags (including contact information) and leash for each dog.
Emergency Contact Information: Provide Pawfect Pet Sitter with up-to-date emergency contact information, including a phone number where Client can be reached at all times.
Special Instructions: Provide Pawfect Pet Sitter with any special instructions regarding the care of their dog(s), including dietary restrictions, behavioral issues, or other relevant information prior to boarding and pre-existing medical conditions.
Pre-Existing Conditions Addendum:
Client acknowledges that their dog(s) have any pre-existing medical conditions in their client profile.
Client agrees to provide Pawfect Pet Sitter with a complete medical history for their dog(s), including any relevant documentation from a veterinarian.
Client understands and acknowledges that Pawfect Pet Sitter is not a veterinarian and is not equipped to provide medical care for pre-existing conditions, with the exception of giving medicine or insulin shots.
Client agrees to assume all responsibility and financial costs associated with any medical care their dog(s) may require during their stay at Pawfect Pet Sitter's residence, including emergency veterinary care.
In the event that Client's dog(s) experience a worsening of a pre-existing medical condition while in Pawfect Pet Sitter's care, Pawfect Pet Sitter will make every reasonable effort to contact Client and follow their instructions regarding medical care.
Client agrees to hold Pawfect Pet Sitter harmless from any and all liability arising from or related to the pre-existing medical conditions of their dog(s
5. Limitation of Liability: Pawfect Pet Sitter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury to Client's dog(s) caused by:
* The dog's own actions, including aggression, escape, or self-inflicted harm.
* The actions of other animals, including bites, fights, or the spread of disease.
* Acts of God, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances.
6. Indemnification: Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Pawfect Pet Sitter from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, expenses, and liabilities (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with:
* The boarding of Client's dog(s) at Pawfect Pet Sitter's residence.
* Client's breach of this Agreement.
* Any act or omission of Client's dog(s).
7. Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral.
8. Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
9. Waiver: No waiver of any provision of this Agreement shall be effective. Client is agreeing to the terms and conditions at the time of booking service in their member profile with Precise Pet Care software.
10. Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
**Additional Information**
Hours of Drop off/pickup: Drop off is after 8am, between 8am-10am or evening hours of 5pm-7pm, and pickup is no later than 1pm on the last day or there is an additional nights charge.
Food/Treats/Bowls: Client can bring treats in addition to food. No food/water bowls are necessary, as Pawfect Pet Sitter provides their own clean/sanitized bowls for each dog.
Leashes: All dogs must be on a leash when entering and exiting Pawfect Pet Sitter's residence.
Bedding: Client can bring a clean Bed/blanket or kennel as needed, however Pawfect Pet Sitter can also provide clean bedding.
Aggression: Aggressive dogs will not be accepted.
